How early did you touch them. If you touch them, it changes the smell of them. The mothers will do that then. Otherwise you may want to have the girbel checked out by a vet, because there may be an underlying issue with teh mother. Meaning that she is passing sickness to them, while they look healthy, the mother can smell it. Instintively she will always rid the litter of any that have any defects so that the stroger ones can survive. There just werent any at the time.
