Havent had a period n 4 months, could you still get pregnant with out having a period> friend didnt have period for 4 months found out she was 4 wks pregnant, is this really possible?

Your period is your body getting rid of the lining of your womb which it had prepared in case a fertilised egg wanted to use it. Having a period is not a pre-requisite for becoming pregnant, it is (normally) a sign that you are not pregant this time round.

you generally ovulate about 2 weeks before your period comes. so this is very possible you were getting ready to finally have your next period but it got fertilized by a sperm so the lining of the womb is now a nest for baby.
