I would think that it depends on far that "pride" is stretched. If you are happy with the person that you are and take pride in yourself for all aspects of that, than no...But if you feel that you are better than somebody based upon your ancestry and the color of your skin, than I would think yes....That's just my opinion, though. I'm sure other people have their own feelings on the topic.

Having pride in a people and their accomplishments has no more to do with racisim as pride in your family for their accomplishments and being a member thereof. Pride does not mean exclusion of others. Racism is directly pointing a percieved fault unnecessarily on an entire people.

I think there is a difference between healthy pride in one's race and racism. True, race isn't an accomplishment, but it does put you in a group with which you are identified, like it or not. Healthy pride in race would celebrate the achievements and history and traditions of those people. Racism focuses on hatred, pure ugly hatred of others based on their skin color. There is a world of difference.
