Does only feed their kits once each day, usually early in the morning so it's very difficult to tell by contact if they are being well fed. But if you pick them up and make sure their tummies are rounded and full, especially before they get all their fur, you can see that they are being well fed. Once they start to get out of their nest box at 3 weeks of age and learn to nibble hay and eat pellets with their mother, they don't drink as much. Weaning usually happens from 6-8 weeks of age. SO they just may not be needing as much if they are eating more adult foods. If you feel the need to supplement their diet with handfeeding then you should use KMR (kitten milk replacer) and if they are between 3-6 weeks of age feed 13-15 cc/ml each feeding and do that twice a day. If you think she's still feeding them a little, go with one feeding. They will bloat if you give them too much, so underfeeding is better than overfeeding.
