Ask the parents who adopted first. A Judge will under certain circumstances open a birth record. Depends on the reason for the request and the Judge. You can always check the birth's in the newspaper if you know where you were born and research that way. But not every birth is always listed but it's worth a try. There are probably other things to do, but that's all I know.

About 12 years ago, I found a cousin who was adopted out. She had been searching for years and finally hired a specialist. She did find some information, but we have a common last name so it was easy to get lost in the tangle of names. She's a published author of books on adoption one coming out in Oct. She also has a web site. Every state is different and with the cut backs in in state funds, many services are not available any more. You might want to look into a researcher who knows how to get around the road blocks. There are also sites that parents can sign in to and their adopted out children can search those sites also. I also have two adopted nieces who are interested in looking. And, since I do genealogy, they've asked me to help them because I still live in the town where they were adopted from. There are a lot of resources so don't give up. Good luck to you in your search.
