Nope. A real friend would say it to your face. ;-) It's inevitable, friends get into arguments. I would rather my friend insult me to my face in an argument than have him/her be vindictive and spread things behind my back. The thing about true friendships though is a fight or argument is forgotten fairly quickly and sometimes the bond of friendship becomes stronger afterwards.

No, that's something a TRUE ENEMY would say. Even if a "friend" says that in jest behind your back, that would not be in good taste and you should seriously doubt his/her intentions.

Nope, that would be the action of somebody who is not a friend. A friend would not only, not pass comment about your physical appearance but who would also leap to your defence in the face of anybody who did.

this is really a tough question. for example we don't know the context the word was used in, the reason for it's use or the charactor of your friend, i've seen friends who name called, fought and sometimes even said they hated one another but when push came to shove they would die for each other. on the other hand i've seen best buds who were there for every event in your life just abandon you in your hour of need. other then calling you ugky behind your back (if they even did, do you have proof?) what have they done to give the impression that they aren't your true friend? don't be like Othello, letting a third party whisper lies and venom in your ear against your friend.

if he is true and if u really are ugly then for ur good he will call u ugly in front of u in order to want to correct u...otherwise he who talks behind u is neither a true friend nor a good person to be with..such ppl are gutless and coward and are only daredevils behind backs
