There's at least one bank in Washington, Tyne-on-Wear. What is your base interest rate at the moment? Ours is 5.25%, but I expect yours is a little lower?

You know I have no idea as I rarely take loans for anything. No cash, no buy. For mortgages it's about 5.5% I think as an example.

Yeah, I'm sure I can Google it. I dare say they're broadly similar nowadays, with finance and capital so internationalised. Finance and capital have got to be my worst subjects though...
