i'm a girl with my tongue pierced and i personally agree with the lady a few comments before me. i have not speech impediments, and even when it first got done i only slurred my 's' and 'l' for the first three days. i am all for 'to each his own', however, if you just focus on the piercing and how much you hate/loathe/despise it, you're not going to see the girl with the piercing. you're going to be so focused on that one thing you don't like and totally bypass all of the things you could like. just food for thought.
