Apple pie is only good if you like the taste of apples and sugar and cinnamon, all cooked together, inside a covering like lightly toasted, sugary bread, called crust (such an ugly name for a delightful tasty treat). Any question about how something tastes is highly subjective. I prefer to eat my apples fresh, and I don't like sugar very much, but Apple pie tastes OK to me. My Hubby (for instance)doesn't like any kind of pie, and he doesn't like peanut butter either.
