  • Zeppelin by far!
  • Zeppelin rocks harder.
  • Black Sabbath, Because I liike ozzy
  • Zep. Their songs have unusal depth and over the course of their career, variety. They do not sound like a guitar 101 class room. They got the funk. Bonham is one of the funkiest drummers in rock. Page has the funk chords and progressions down. Plant IS rock vocal. There is something about Zep in that they crafted each song to somehow represent their entire career. If I could play only one song to a friend who had never heard Zeppelin, but couldn't control which song, it somehow wouldn't matter because each song is representative of their overall strength and creativity. None of this is true for Sabbath.
  • Sabbath is one-dimensional. I like to listen to them, but they're basically a one-trick pony. Zeppelin has depth and breadth. Their music is rich, sophisticated, and varied. I'm not talking about just the hard-rock stuff they play on the radio. I play guitar and I understand a bit about musical theory. Zeppelin's stuff is quality work, though many people seem to think of them in terms of their heavy-metal side.
  • Led Zeppelin in my opinion are more talented than Black Sabbath.
  • Zeppelin because they are more intellectually stimulating. I can easily get lost in a Zeppelin song, following along with the guitars or the drums or the bass, or just listening to the lyrics. With Sabbath, it's a much more simple listening pleasure.
  • both. black sabbath for something more heavy led zeppelin for something more rock
  • Black Sabboth. I like their songs much better than Led Zepplin, especially Iron Man. Basically, I don't like southern rock at all, which makes me not like Zepplin. Sabboth was heavier than Zepplin, they were more about real southern rock and stuff.

  • Black Sabbath. They were very original and one of the most highly influential bands of the last century. They do everything for me Zeppelin has tried and failed at. Led Zeppelin. Robert Plant's wailing vocals. The sloppy guitar of Jimmy Page. The rape of tradional blues songs. Only white guys from Britain. They may have been more talented musicians but it's hard to give a fuck with Robert Plant babbling about Mordor, Gollum, and gawking at the west desperately trying to feel something. What kind of idiot ask this question?
  • led zeppelin because unlike sabbath they had more than 2 good albums and with each album they got better
  • sabbath is by far heavier than zeppellin in terms of heavy metals led zeppellin is just a drop of oecan and sabbath is the ocean.. led zeppellin music and guitar ribs are for who loves guitar and not for those peoples who wants to listen hard rocks..its too soft...too soft... i didnt find a single song from LED which can compete with the following number IRON MAN NEVER SAY DIE N.I.B CHILDREN OF THE GRAVE HAND OF DOOM PARANOID ELECTRIC FUNERAL SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH DIRTY WOMAN INTO THE VOID SWEET LEAF SYMPTOMS OF THE UNIVERSE AFTER FOREVER WAR PIGS....SO LED ZEPPELLIN IS NO MATCH FOR SABBATH... THEY ARE FOR GIRLS AND GAYS IF ANYONE WHO DOESNT AGREE WITH ME PLZ POST A SONG WHICH IS HEAVIER THAN ABOVE(FROM ZEPPELLIN)
  • Black Sabbath is totally not "One-Dimensional". Anyone that says that isn't listening to enough of their work. Sabbath has an amazing amount of stylistic and aural diversity within their discography, almost as much as led Zeppelin does. The one and only reason that Zep is slightly ahead of Sabbath is the amount of epic masterpieces in their catalog is a bit larger than Sabbath's and that's it. They are two of the greatest bands to ever play a note.
  • Both are essential listening but Zeppelin gets the nod. They were more creative. Their music was more sophisticated and has stood the test of time better. Having said that, the Ozzy and Dio-era Sabbath discs are good stuff. They spawned a whole generation of metal clones and deserve their props as well.
  • Sabbath all the way! Heavy, more interesting, more original (at the time) & darker music that captures what rock music is all about. Zeppelin, while a good band, is overrated, in my humble opinion. I still listen when a Sabbath song comes on the radio, but when I hear Zep, I usually get that "same old, same old" feeling & change stations.
  • Oh,I gotta go with BOTH!Kick ass rock is the best!LOL!*
  • Led Zeppelin. The other one's are all posers. Their music has no tune and sounds like noise.
  • zepplin
