  • I would call the local police - nonemergency number - and ask them. They may transfer your call a few times but someone will know. You can 'fudge' the truth and tell them you want to place a gas grill and want to know if there are any laws against it.
  • Why don't you call your local townhall or fire department and ask them?
  • I don't know that it's illegal by state, county, or city law, but if it's in the lease it is. You may wish to review the lease, and see if there's anything about it there. Otherwise, call the above three entities' courthouses, and ask them. BTW: I CAN understand why it might be considered a fire hazard. You may also wish to call the local fire department to find out. ;-)
