Wasn't it nice for awhile when Answer Bag didn't send you notices.. "That you got mail ?" now how to stop it again... Hmmm,,, Any Idea's anyone?

Not sure if this would cure it but just above the 'Submit" button there are 2 boxes 1. Send me new answers to this question and 2. Send me new questions .... Those boxes may be ticked. Un-tick them and see what happens.

Make sure the boxes at the bottom of the question pages are unchecked. "Send me new answers to this question" and "Send me new questions in AB email notifications."

I have always had that box at the bottom of the question page checked and received notices on my Feedback page for new answers and comments as well as my Activity Information. I never got any notices by email and now all of a sudden my mailbox is filled with them. Funny thing is I didn't change any of my settings. I'm afraid to answer a question now or make a comment.

I too started receiving the emails about activity on my 'watchlist' two days back. All I did was to click on the link 'stop all notification' in the email itself which took me to the 'unsubscribe' page. Clicking on the 'unsubscribe' button there AB said 'Successfully Unsubscribed'. That was it. No more emails from AB for me. You could try the same method and get yourself 'Successfully Unsubscribed'.

Yes, it was nice. I had unchecked all the email boxes in my settings - preferences and still got bombarded. I even tried deleting a few pages of my watch list. The only thing I have left to try is to unsubscribe from all email, but I'm afraid of not being notified about rejected questions and stuff like that. :(

I just set up a new folder in my email for the tons of AB emails I'm getting all of a sudden and set up a rule that all emails from AB go straight into that folder instead of my inbox.

Ninja someone just told me that when those notices come in there is a link to click if you want them to stop sending them. I tried it. It didn't work the first 2 times but the 3rd was a charm and they stopped coming to my mailbox.
