G'day Big Mama, Thank you for your question. Troy Smith deserved the Heisman Trophy. He led Ohio State University to an undefeated season. He sealed the Heisman in his match against Michigan where he threw for four touchdowns. The margin of his victory was one of the biggest in history only behind OJ Simpson. He is available for the NFL draft and will be one of the first picked. I understand that he is encouraging the Cleveland Browns to select him as they will have third or fourth pick.
