It's taken from the song "frolic" by Luciano Michelini, but I have yet to find the actual version that is played on the AG Edwards commercial. The song I listed is from the show 'Curb your enthusiasm'.

The name of the song is "Sur Les Bateaux Mouche" Composed by Jacques Mercier & Gilbert Einaudi. This is off the website that developed the commercials so I assume it is accurate even though I am unable to find theis song on itunes or real rhapsody.

My high school French is rusty, but I believe the A.G. Edwards song Sur Les Bateaux Mouche (by Gilbert Einaudi and Jaques Mercier) translates literally as "On The Fly-Boat." This refers to a type of sightseeing yacht that can frequently be seen on the river Seine. www.discoverfrance.net/France/ Transportation/Water/Bateaux-M ouches.shtml (take out spaces, key manually; copying and pasting from here seems to alter URL). When I was a kid in the late fifties and early sixties a number of French tunes were popular, and it seems like I remember this as being one of them, but maybe it's just the French quality I'm remembering. Still, I've heard this particular tune somewhere besides the HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm, I can't remember where.
