  • That AG Edwards TV commercial tune is called "Frolic" and is also used on the HBO show "Curb Your Enthusiam." Go to Amazon.com and search "Curb Your Enthusiasm" soundtrack samples. It is sample #1.
  • Going off Karo's answer, here's a link to listen to the full song on rhapsody. http://rhaplinks.real.com/rhaplink?rhapid=3203993&type=playlist&title=Playlist&from=listen
  • It's taken from the song "frolic" by Luciano Michelini, but I have yet to find the actual version that is played on the AG Edwards commercial. The song I listed is from the show 'Curb your enthusiasm'.
  • The name of the song is "Sur Les Bateaux Mouche" Composed by Jacques Mercier & Gilbert Einaudi. This is off the website that developed the commercials so I assume it is accurate even though I am unable to find theis song on itunes or real rhapsody.
  • I have the mp3 if anyone wants it. AG Edwards says it is unnamed. farklefreddy@hotmail.com

  • My high school French is rusty, but I believe the A.G. Edwards song Sur Les Bateaux Mouche (by Gilbert Einaudi and Jaques Mercier) translates literally as "On The Fly-Boat." This refers to a type of sightseeing yacht that can frequently be seen on the river Seine. www.discoverfrance.net/France/ Transportation/Water/Bateaux-M ouches.shtml (take out spaces, key manually; copying and pasting from here seems to alter URL). When I was a kid in the late fifties and early sixties a number of French tunes were popular, and it seems like I remember this as being one of them, but maybe it's just the French quality I'm remembering. Still, I've heard this particular tune somewhere besides the HBO comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm, I can't remember where.
