    Portland does have Forest Park, the nation's largest park that is within city limits.

    yes. It's woodsy, tho. Not like Oak tree green. It rains quite a bit and rain makes things greener. +

    Portland, Oregon or Portland, Maine?

    Let me tell you, I've been to both and if by 'green' you mean regarding the environment, energy, etc. and neither one of them qualifies.

    Portland, OR is one of the biggest dumps in the US and, oh, yeah, very few cars, people bike or walk everywhere but not necessarily because they're 'green' but because they're so flat broke they can't even afford a car.

    As for Portland, ME, it's green but because of the trees and mountains that surround it.
