No, but the sports they play will veer far from the conventional games of football, basketball, baseball, etc. More teens than ever before are trying out for athletic teams, but the activities they are participating in range from lacrosse to swimming.

I doubt it. Young athletes that rise to prominence get so much media coverage, money and promotional contracts now that I think that will easily counter the dilution of interests today's technological explosition is producing.
