  • There is something about the whole entertainment industry. There are many more out gays in the music, theatre, and film industries than there are in the rest of society. This may be because of an aptitude for entertainment in gays, or because being an out gay is more tolerated in these industries, or because being a gay, in or out, is more tolerated.
  • I would say coincidence. There are gay people working in all walks of life, the music and entertainment business is no exception. Here's a trivia tidbit you might know but I found about just yesterday: The Beatles' song "You've got to hide your love away" (penned by Lennon) is thought to be directed at Brian Epstein (The Beatles manager) although there are other versions that contradict this.
  • The managers told them they had to succeed or pay on the back end. They weren't sure what the back end meant.
