Majority of Asian countries feel President Obama as "their man" as per their media. They love to see him as one of them. Why so?

As their economies grow, they are going to need more and more energy. One source of that energy will be middle eastern oil. They believe Obama will direct the withdrawl of the US from military engagement in the middle east. This will allow them to make oil deals with the dictators, despots and monarchs that infect the area, and such deals will no doubt in some cases exclude direct sales to the US from the middle east. Then, they will grow their economies and charge a premium to the west to buy the oil that they now control. That will limit economic growth for the west. The western economies will shrink, their economies will grow. We will wind up having to borrow their money. And that will be it. That is why they like him so much.

How America is going to benefit out of this is a big question. May be praising someone like Obama, they might be expecting peace from America?
