$45 for the zip tie, surgical grade, sterile.
$ 29,955 for the experience to insert it laprascopically.
I'll do it for $300
It's cheaper and more permanent to diet and exercise. Just get the courage to start, even if its a 30 minute walk.
I know many people who got the lap-band and said it is not worth it. There are so many things you cant do and its really expensive. They didn't base their opinion on the price they baed them on the actual results
A lot, but excercise is free
If you are a veteran and have it done at a VA Hospital It's free.
Way more costly then going on a diet and going to the gym.
A hell of a lot more then a gym membership.
I have been over weight. Just put down the ho-ho's and start walking. And start a sensible diet.

I believe the average cost right now, is, your life in 2500 surgeries! If more people, that are obese, did just a below-average research, they would find, that little pain in the stomach, figuratively speaking is hunger pain, it is not literally a hunger pain. In reality, like a balloon, that you let the air out of is seeking its original shape. That does not mean that you need to fill it with calories. I will give you five ways to lose weight... stop eating, stop eating, stop eating, stop eating and finally stop eating! Tony Dahlin Venice
PS I am 62 years old when I was 40 years old I lost over 100 pounds by throwing up after dinner every night. That was not smart I received a lesion in my esophagus and stained my teeth forever. When I was 50 I lost 110 pounds simply by following my aforementioned five rules, I Stopped Eating! This time it Stuck! Good Luck!
about 25,000 or Higher. My insurance paid for mine after I paid my dect. I lost a 187lbs and kept it off for 4 years now.
Set cost aside...if it is worth it then does it matter? People who do this are FORCED to eat like they should have in the first place. Why not just eat the right diet and skip the costly procedure? You should really research a group of people that have already had this done - not just recently but also long term to see how they were affected. Do not rely solely on the opinion of the doctors and those who are profiting from the surgery. It is a very risky procedure and I personally know of two individuals who have done so who suffer now from other various side effects. Again, research to get the big picture.
