  • If the weather was not too cold or bad my mother let us build a snowman or sled abit. If it was real nasty outside, we played inside, watched TV etc.
  • Gather with the neighborhood children and we used to live on a huge hill street and we would take our runner sleds and ride from teh top of the road to the bottom from until night. We also used to snow barriers accross the roads from each others houses and have snowball fights.. Those were the days.. The fun fun snowdays..
  • Played in the snow. Went sledding, built a snowman, hoped the day would last twice as long as any other weekday.
  • Go outside and play in the snow of coarse. Also, I would go sledding at the library where there was a big hill.
  • I slept like I never slept before
  • Built snowmen, sledded, made snow angels, and played "cut the pie". We stayed out in the snow til our moms had to drag us in with quivering purple lips! (Points to you for the great memories!)
  • Well, I'm in 7th grade and they make us go to school half the time so once or twice we had a snow day. On those days, I spent my whole day on the computer i.m.ing friends and family and on the internet
  • Sleigh ride, build snowmen, have snowball fights. All after I shoveled the driveway and front walk.
  • Sledding or skiing. Earlier it was build snow forts, have snowball fight, throw snowballs at cars and the run away. Always though drink Hot Chocolate afterwards.
  • bake cookies to eliminate boredom and hunger

  • SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!
  • Stayed and Played out side
  • I lived in a little town in upstate NY - on snow days (we had quite a few!)mom would chase us out of the house after donning our snowsuits, mittens, scarves and hats - we would grab our old fashioned wooden sleds or our wooden skis (YES - FOR REAL!)and make the trek to the old farm up the hill and down the way just a bit - it was a spooky place - we were always so scared as children often are - thinking of the ghosts in the barn and such - the place had a very eery feel about it BUT the property was so large and irresistable for a number of reasons. We would sled down the hill into a very wooded area, taking care to stay on the trails we forged over time - Alternatively, we would take our tubes or what have you and sled down the hill at the bottom of our street - it's so funny because the hill seemed so gigantic then - I took a trip back to my childhome street a few years back and couldn't help but notice the hill wasn't very big at all! We also had a lake we were able to skate once it froze through... OR we would simply go into the yard (front or back) and make snow huts and snowwalls and have snowball fights or make lots of snow angels... After such days of play, we would go inside, toes frozen and snow clupmed on our wet mittens, cheeks bright, bright red, noses running and mom would make us hot chocolate and run a hot bath! I miss those days...
  • Snowball fights, built igloos or snow forts, sledding and skating. I miss snow days!!!!
  • Well, insteda of snow days, here in Florida we get Hurricane days. Funny too because where I lived growing up, a hurricane hasn't had a direct impact there for over a century. So most of our hurricane day ended up being just nice sunny windy days. We'd go to the beach and hang out or go shopping. I just think that if kids get the day off because it's really cold and snowing, then we should have gotten the it's too damn hot and raining days.
  • We (my best friends and myself) would spend the ENTIRE day outside, sledding, building snowmen, having snowball fights, just walking in the snow. Snowdays were a rare occurrence when I was growing up in Memphis, so we savored them.
  • Homework, watch TV, play outside and make snow forts and snow men. This was back when I didn't use the computer/internet. If I had a snow day now I'd probably be on Answerbag or something the whole day..
  • sit inside and watch TV.
  • Went outside and built snow forts and had snowball fights, made snowmen, grabbed the top of a trash can and slid down the hill.
  • I think I only had one maybe two snow days as a kid. We played in the "snow"; I put it in quotes because here snow is really more like fluffy rain. It never snows enough to cover the ground and if you want to make a snow man you usually have to do it on the hood of your car. That's the only place that there is enough snow to make one.
  • I had to shovel the driveway, then I'd go back in and warm up with my Atari 20600...
  • Sigh, I dont think we would EVER have a snowday here. And soon, i would be physically be a kid no more.so i cant answer ur question.waahhh!!!sob sob...
