  • I was there last year. I was in Edinburgh and Glasgow and took a Haggis Tour to the Highlands. It was an awesome trip. In Edinburgh I did the normal touristy things: The castle, the royal mile, the museums, Arthur's seat. In Glasgow we went to St. Mungo's Museum and to the Burrel Collection. We also went to King Tut Wah Waht Hut in the evening to check out your music scene. The Haggis Tour was great! We went to Inverness, Fort Augustus, Eileen Donan Castle and some other castle ruins and we saw some great scenery. You have a very beautiful place!
  • I've been to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Scapa Flow. My cousins live in the first two, so it was mostly a wee bit O drinkin'. I did see the Botanical Gardens in Glasgow and naturally the Castle in Edinburgh. I spent two days diving some of the German fleet at Scapa. Then took Brit Rail back down to London where I'd based my holiday.
  • Edinburgh is worth seeing, it's a beautiful city, small and cosmopolitan. Fife and the east coast have some lovely beaches. The west coast is amazing; you can tour it in a week. Finally, some of the islands are among the most amazing places I have been in the world. I recommend especially Lewis, Barra and Orkney.
  • I was planning to go there last year but my plans were cancelled. Now hearing the good things that I missed, I will definately make it this year.
  • Im going on a music tour to scotland during December! playing bagpipes! can't wait!
  • Edinburgh is beautiful, especially if you go by train, the train station is under ground, and as you walk up the stairs the city sort of falls over you! In Glasgow the Museum of Modern Art is not to be missed, pay special attention to the statues on George's Square. Somebody always makes sure they have an orange cone on their heads every weekend, monday mornings you can see the cities respectable police officers climb up to get the cones down!!
