    Professionally Researched. (What's this?)

The average annual rainfall in a rainforest is 262 cm (103.15 inches). The rainforest biome gets its name from the large amounts of rain it receives, which typically range from 160 inches to 400 inches of rain a year. The rainfall is received in relatively even amounts every month, all year 'round.
