No it is the people who run the education system curerntly. They do not use critial thinking anymore. Ask a student to run something through a scientific method. It is sad. We do not teach people to think.

I think they help keep it under control, everyone's idea of art isnt always on the same level. Vulgarity can be questionable. I think its need for main stream art.

Maybe sometimes these people create controversy that leads to creativity.

Possibly creative people are looking for acceptance so they think what would be the line not to cross for a marketable product if the thinking is too weird the masses wont understand it.personally myself I could care less of what others think of me you either love me or hate me

I think if we want to be creative., the only person who can stifle it is ourselves!
