  • you have to learn to respect your bosses's personal business. he is the boss, and if you want to be his employee you gotta suck it in and dont worry about your boss's trust.
  • If the boss's perspective on off time is that he is too busy with it to be at work, that's certainly his business and not yours. Do you always mix your own feelings into other people's affairs?
  • I think that something like that isn't really a situation that would mean to trust him or to not trust him. It doesn't really matter what he is going to do with his time and if it comcerns an employee then it is their business or issue of trust. The other things that he may lie about to you or someone else are more important, maybe about when you work and how long you work or something with in the work area, but when it doesn't have to do with work then I really wouldn't be concerned, because it isn't anyones business what he does when he's not there.
  • Maybe he had to take off for personal reasons which he does not want to share with the staff. Maybe he felt that it was not anyone's business.
