Make it clear he is never to speak to you in the manner EVER AGAIN IN LIFE if he does again. Then report it immediately to the Boss and make sure you have a third party present. For now, let it go unless he comes in all the time. But if you only see him once in a blue moon don't worry about it too much.

Well,I think that once is a tongue lashing he wouldn't forget,but I would just ignore him,because he's trying to be 'Cool',like teenagers do,but if it happens more than once,I would definately inform the mother if it happens again,because he needs to be trained on manners and respect for other people,as all these types do need,in my opinion.The ones that continue to exibit these behaviors haven't been trained properly,and into adulthood,they continue to be disgusting human beings.Truth hurts to hear sometimes,don't it? you shouldn't have to put up with such a crude co-worker ... treat him as if he WASN'T the boss' kid ... file a sexual harrassment complaint with HR asap ... let them deal with the matter as they legally required to do so
