  • I do any time when I feel it's necessary. If I can get by without one, I'll go "slip commando", LOL!
  • I do when the dress is too sheer.
  • I don't wear dresses; but I would if I did.
  • Some of them, the ones with lighter fabrics.
  • The dresses I wear have them built in if they need them.
  • Traditionally, the slip was used to prevent our undies (bras and panties) from showing under our dresses and skirts. Some slips were functional only (plain), while others were lavished with pretty lace. I grew up wearing slips under everything and mom indulged me with very lacy, frilly slips as well as pretty matching panties and bras. Over the years more and more skirts and dresses have been made with liners that serve the traditional function of slips. I have many girlfriends who don't even own a slip much less wear them. I, on the other hand, have retained my love for pretty slips. For me, wearing beautiful lingerie is important and slips are my favorite form of lingerie. I have the liners removed from my new skirts and dresses so that I can wear my slips without being too warm. I would also add that in my view, my dresses hang better on me when I wear a fullslip rather than rely on the manufacturer's liner.
  • Yes to day I have on a cream half slip under my skirt and I'm a male who loves wearing female attire and it all depends if the skirt is lined or not
  • Rarely. I have one dress that has a kind of sheer top part and I do wear either a slip or a cami
