You put in a CD. A prompt should come up asking what you want to do with it. Select Import songs to itunes. Once itunes is open, there will be a circle in the top right corner that says import songs. All of the songs from the CD shoudl be listed on that page as well. Select Import songs Once all songs have been imported to itunes, plug your ipod into your computer. Depending on how you have set up your ipod, it should now update to add all songs in your music library. Mine is set up to add all new songs as long as I have them checked. Adding new songs makes them already checked, so unless you don't want these added, just leave them. You can also set it up so that it adds everything, checked or not. You can check/clear everything in your library as you wish it to be added/not added to your ipod.
