You need to go to FHA or a Human Resources area in your town they should be listed in the phone book. This way you can start planning on where you are going to go, and stay until you can find permanent residence. Do you have any family, or friend whom might be able to help you? There are also some churches whom might be willing to help, do they have shelters in your area, or programs such as Father Fred's, or the Salvation Army. You should not be afraid to get help you have worked hard to get a degree, and a good job. It is not your fault that the economy is bad, and jobs are unavailable. Also do you have any employment agencies in your city/town?Hang in there, and don't let anyone put you down. If you have to work fast food, or in retail you might just have to suck it up and work beneath your degree to make it. It is not your job that makes you who you are it is what is inside that counts, how you treat people, and being intelligent of choices you make. I have faith that you can pull through this. I really hope this helps.

I asked a question on Ansewer bag last week(?) I too have not been able to find a job. I have cold calling though the phone book,walk-ins. sriking up conversations with poeple i don't even know and asking them if there place is looking for work. I thought being my age...52 that it was going to be easier. NOT. I never wanted to go back where I was again. I have a roof over my head and someone to help me for now,,,thank God. 2001 I was out of work. My son and I lived in my Jeep for 2 months it was summer,so we camped out. I had sold everything. I just kept going. FINALLY found a job got myself back on track. and here I am again,in better shape though. I really do feel for you. It's hard out there. I DON"T belive that things are getting better. I don't know what state you are in I am in Maine. There are some sites on the computer that you can go in.Call every health care place in the phone book. Jobs in (Put what state you live in).com (for me it's jobsinME.com)Go to the career center/unenployment. Go to EVERY hospital site and look at there jobs site. EVERY Nursing home site. Walk in to the DOCtors offices in your area. I went to 12 offices in one day. It IS very depressing. YOu will find something. Go to your bank and see if you qualify to lower your loan on your house. What state are you in? Alice was right. If you have to take a hamburger flipping job, then do it. ANYTHING. it won't be forever. The GOverment says that things are better...Maybe they ought to trade places with us and for awhile and THEN tell us how things are getting better. I beive in you,if your young you can and will find a job. Your house..I hate to say it but maybe it's best to walk away. Don't make life harder than it has to be. You just do what you have to do. Right now for me..I'm crawling, hopefully i will be on my knees so I can get back up. So what state are you in.?
