I enjoy the taste of beef...really good beef, such as that which has been corn-fed here in the U.S. Black Angus, particularly.
In any case, there are SO many beef dishes th+at I enjoy...it's difficult to narrow it down to just one...but, for right now, I'll vote for an chef-prepared Beef Stroganoff at an outstanding restaurant. It has been awhile since I had that opportunity.

Footnote: When I visited Moscow way back when Russia was still The Soviet Union and behind the Iron Curtain, I looked forward to having Beef Stroganoff...REAL Beet Stroganoff. Waiters would hand you their menus at any given restaurant, and they were usually 30 pages long, including the item Beef Stoganoff. The problem was, the restaurants never had anything that was on their menus, except for, maybe, four or five "Specials of the Day"! I never DID get to enjoy REAL, Russian Beef Stroganoff. :-(
Oh, well, they had GREAT VODKA...and, after a few, no one seemed to much care what was on the menu ! :-)

Where to get GREAT quality steaks in southern l.a. area? long beach, cerritos, orange country areas...looking for really thick and TENDER fillets, porterhouse, rib eye steaks (not CostCo or sams)..comparable to a ruth's chris or morton's quality. . thanks
