Beach towels are a few inches wider and longer.

generally bath towels are in only ıne color, but on beach towels there are generally some dessins.

Beach towels are usually much larger so you can lie on them at the beach with plenty of room, as opposed to using it to dry off your body after bathing. And they are usually thinner and loudly colored.
