He was not the first to break the law and get caught. he served his time, so he should be allowed to pursue a means of income and if that is the NFL, then yes he should be allowed to play. whether or not a team signs him is a different story, but I imagine there are a few interested teams.

I have absolutely no use for that low life scumbag, but I do think that if he can find a team that will take him, he should be allowed to play. He did his time & when he completes whatever punishment the NFL hands down, let him play.
