Kids sometimes in the blink of an eye can escape the view of even the most vigilant parent. There are a couple things I taught my kids when they were young. If a stranger ever grabbed them, they were to yell at the top of their lungs "HELP ME! THIS IS NOT MY DAD! THIS IS A STRANGER!" This will get more attention than just screaming because people will assume its just a bratty kid. The other thing I told them was if they got lost and needed help, to ask a woman for help.
