Yes. They worship evil, and therefore want to be evil.
-
Yes. They cannot plead ignorance even if their excuse was to "fit in" or "fit out" to seek attention. They are an abomination and worthless in my opinion.
-
Nope. but I would have many preconsived ideas, best on such an admission.
-
No I wouldn't. After doing some research and personally meeting some Satanists, I have found that many of them are not evil at all. Most Satanists do not sacrifice children and animals as the rumors are told. I have found that Christians, Muslims and Jews tend to be more evil than the average Satanist.
-
sorry to say this but "DUHH" of course a worshiper of evil would be evil
-
I have never met one who was.
-
I don't -- I assume they're a poseur attention-whore.
-
No. The Satanists that I have known are good-hearted, upstanding people.
-
Not really. I have met two in my life and aside from being a bit socially akward, they were very nice people. They paid their taxes, did their gardening, when out with friends on the weekend, had a job, and venerated Satan on a weekly basis at night. Big deal. I'm not saying that there aren't satanists out there who do evil deeds, I'm just saying that is not necessary.

No assumtions usually get me into trouble and I have yet to perosnally meet a Satanist. I just throw them into the same category as the other religious people. One's religion usually doesn't define someone as a whole... usually...
-
No more than I would assume that a Christian is good
-
I would assume that a satanist is a moron.
-
Just a little bit.
-
If a Satanist follows Satan, and Satan is 'the father of all lies' and lots and lots of other evil stuff, if he is defined as being evil, which he is, then....
-
ok..."would I assume a satanist is evil?" I would assume so before getting to know them, yes. Seeing as, and forgive my ignorance if I'm wrong, Satan is depicted as being a deceitful individual who went against God in the christian belief. Of course assumptions are hardly ever correct and there very well could be good satanists. Good and evil are just matters of perception after all.
-
No; just another individual that needs to belong to a group to feel exceptance, just like any other religion. I would say a politician is more evil, thats a racket nobody can get out of paying.
-
No. Since most Satanists are not of the theistic variety, I dismiss the Christian concept of Satanism and judge based on their individual merits. Even the ones who practice theistic Satanism have a different take on Satan and see him as good. In that sense, they are no different than any other religion that worships ad different God than the "traditional" God of Abrahamic faiths. Most people who claim to be Satanist i encounter are attention whores who simply like to piss people off. Assholes for sure, but not evil. of the ones that are serious, they are just like everyone else...a mixed bag. Honestly, I have met more Christians I would consider evil than Satanists. To be fair, I have also met more Christians than Satanists I would regard as "good". Bottom line is that unless a person actually self defines themself in a way that is blatantly evil (declaration of advocating legal infant rape or some other extremely universally evil position), I tend to reserve assumign they are evil.
-
From what I read before on it it had nothing to do with being evil. It had something to do with being an individual and believing in yourself. That's what I read anyway. So I don't know why it's called Satanism.
-
Satanists revere the very essence of evil. It follows that they are spiritually evil. It does not follow that they are "bad people." The evil can do good, just as the good can do evil. On the surface, there isn't that much difference between a Satanist and a Christian: it's just that Christians have received forgiveness for the evil they do.
