• Funny how you say Poor Animals, have you ever thought about what the animals you probably consume on a regular basis go through to get to the grocery store? Being raised in a pen and Getting pumped full of drugs so that they grow at an increased rate so that they can be sold earlier for profit! People who hunt usually use the meat, and if they don't they donate the meat to the homeless, or one of the charities around their area! The Antlers are just what is left to remind them of the fact that they provided healthy Drug free meat for their family!

• I think that was a very good answer.I dont eat deer meat, but my husband is a hunter and he loves the deer meat, and another thing is if no one killed the deer, they would be over populated and could possibly kill you or your child in an auto accident.

• I'm not sure where you're from, but that happens a lot in alberta, what is worse is when the moose are on the roads, that is dangerous! You do not want to run into one of them, it would be like hitting a horse with your car! They are so tall that they usually go right through the cab on a car

• yes its fun to kill and mount animals just kill the thing its just an animal like it cant think at all all they do eat and sleep like it looks cool dead like a medal thats why they call it a trophy and fur apparel is very warm and looks cool i mean who cares about the dumb ass animal i especially hate foxes and lions plus lions make a good trophy and foxes make a nice coat.

• Ok here is the thing. If the animal was good enough (meaning pretty or majestic), the hunter was a clean shot, and it was stuffed right...the hunter is not the one being admired as much as the animal. It is not wasted. You can still use the meat and in the process you are bringing in an animal to the attention of eyes that otherwise could not see such a beast. Although if you think about it, we could bring in the real, live animal for all those "disgusted" people and be rid of them...hmmmmmm

• No disrespect intended but meat doesn't magically appear in the Supermarket.
  I think Hunting is a more humane way of controlling the animal population and insuring that there is enough food for the rest of them to eat.
  .
  I had to take a Conservation class to get my Hunting License. This info may help you to see that not all hunters are redneck morons with guns. Sadly though, some are.
