Why do criminals invariably leave a clue for the crime investigators to find?

Anything can be a clue but that really doesn't help them as much as T.V suggest it does. The media just tries and convince the populous that most of them get cot, but they don't. Projected safety.

I don't know, but if I ever were to commit a crime, I hope those jokers from CSI do the investigating. They waltz in in their street clothes, dropping trace evidence all over the place. The only protective gear I've ever seen them wear are gloves. Yup... I'm think'n acquital... contamination of the crime scene. :)
