I don't watch it but my mother can't get enough of QVC. I know it's a channel but it's basically the same people selling stuff 24/7. Probably about like my addiction to eBay.

In India it was the Mahabharatam produced by B.R. Chopra.
The 94-episode series originally ran from 1988 to 1990 on Sunday mornings 9 to 10. The series based on the ancient Indian epic Mahabharata.
Mahabharatam was so successful the all over India streets wore a deserted look when the show was aired as the entire population of the country sat in front of their TV for the one hour Sunday episode of the Mahabharatam.
I now have a CD collection of the entire serial sans advertisements which I do watch occasionally.

I only discovered "The Shield" after it had been on a number of seasons, and when I did I went on a marathon of watching every single episode from Netflix. I think it was 92 hours of shows. There was a hook in every show that sucked you in so you'd say, "there's NO WAY Vic's gonna get out of this one this time!!!"
