Yes, I used to do them as a kid [long winter afternoons and no cable] I gave it up because I found it kinda dull.

Yes, I've made several over the years. It's especially good to do if you have to sit and wait (like in the hospital waiting for someone to come out of surgery). Under those circumstances, it's hard for me to concentrate on reading a book, so latch-hook is a way to pass the time and calm my nerves. :)

Wow, it's been years! I made an "Incredible Hulk" latchook rug when I then turned into a pillow. I was about 10, I think.
