  • The cats protection league here in the UK ask for a "donation" but in reality it isn't a donation as they wouldn't let me have my kitty unless I paid it! There are sometimes adverts in the paper offering them for free. I certainly wouldn't buy a kitten from the paper though unless it were a pedigree from a specialist breeder - some people will try to make money out of anything!
  • If you go through the SPCA you pay for the cost of Spay or Neuter. Depending where you live it averages around $100. If you go private people give them away generally unless they are purebred. This is where I live anyway. Other places I am sure have their own rules.
  • Just steal some
