I drove a car that was registered to the owner of a company that has financial problems and suspect that they have defaulted on the lease, how do I find out if the repo man is looking for the car?

Unless you can somehow get in contact with the finance company or the company that leases the car, there is no concrete way to find out.

Finance companies will employ various Repo companies, so it will be very difficult. The best thing may be to trade the car with a friend until you are sure that they are NOT after the car.
