  • Heads up, there's a spot to put links when you ask a question below the text box :] I think it's a he-said, she-said type of thing. It's nice that CNN fed us both sides, but who knows what really happened? Idk about him, but I'd be frustrated about my door, and might have taken it out on the officer. Even putting that thought aside, I don't think the professor should be demanding an apology. It seems immature, especially for being a professor. Your thoughts?
  • For some reason I believe the cop.
  • I have yet to get the real story. The only thing I have learned through the media is that no one was there and the media is tremendously biased. I have to say this, if I was a black professor and some whitey cops came and accused me of breaking into my house, I would be real, real pissed off. That is not the way to handle the situation, of course, but I do understand. I would also be pissed off at the imbecile neighbor who called the cops on me. There is something about being accused and arrested in your own home that does put one off one's game. On the other hand we are all sick and tired of someone of color screaming unfair everytime they are accused of a crime that they feel picked on about.
