Not really, and here's why: You remember the TV series, "LASSIE?" Jon Provost and his wife Laurie are personal friends of mine, and what isn't generally known is that around FORTY different collies were used, over the life of that TV series. There was more than ONE dog used by Taco Bell® for those commercials, believe me. Probably one of them did die, and Taco Bell® decided to turn the death of that ONE dog, into a way to "get their name out there," in the form of some free publicity. The same thing happened several years ago, when "Morris the Cat" passed away. That original cat was instantly replaced by another one, shortly after "9 Lives" milked the death for all the free publicity they could get from it. +5
