Why when paedophiles are caught, charged, arrested and/or convicted, are they so full of self-pity?

I dont think they do; this is normal behavior for them because the same thing was done to most of them so to them its not wrong even thow there told it is; I believe most of them are just sorry they got caught and they revert back to childish behavior when they do get caught by playing on peoples emotions for sympathy; and some of them are just freaking evil and should be killed on the spot.

Because in their deeply twisted, sick minds, they obviously believe that having sex with children is their right. The fact that they do not ( for one single minute) consider that child's feelings, tells me that they are a bunch of "sociopaths". because we all know that "sociopaths" are only out for what they can get, and to hell with anyone else's feelings. They believe that if they have a need, then that need should be met, and to hell with the consequences. Sound familiar? Sorry for the ranting, lol. I just DESPISE paedophiles.

They are scared of what awaits them in prison, since many convicts consider molesting children wrong. They have told themselves that it is okay to do whatever they want and the children wanted it too (in the sickos head), so that also makes it okay. +4

Because they are sick individuals that are only focussed on themselves. They probably feel that they are the victim of whatever, that they couldn't help it, that they had such a bad childhood themselves and that they are punished to hard. Most of them are sociopaths or otherwise deeply disturbed people.

Because they are going to have a miserable time. It may be a well-deserved miserable time, but that doesn't make it any less miserable for the person about to suffer it.

Most people caught for a crime would be, knowing that they are going to prison for a long time. Also some of them are ashamed of who they are and they way they feel, and will be ashamed that this has come out into the public domain, and everyone know knows what kind of person they are. Some crimes have a certain glamour and respect in prison, so at least while you are in there you may get some kind of admiration from your fellow convicts, but this crime will only get you potential trouble, abuse, and violence from the other inmates.
