  • Your IQ is 128, and you don't know that it's above average?
  • The average IQ is at least 135. Don't worry, you only need 7 more points, and anyone with your IQ can easily reach 135 within two weeks!
  • It is Good , above average. Not high enough for Mensa but a good mind.
  • Ignore IQ figures - they vary so wildly between tests that they're meaningless. However if you want to make a good impression you could start by improving your writing. Little things like punctuation can make a big difference.
  • The average IQ is around 100. Genius level is 140. You definitely have a high IQ. So yes, it is very good. +5
  • It's moot is what it is. It's of no use if your social skills, conflict resolution skills, and contextual capacity are low. I've met men without a GED that make 6 figure incomes because they've got a silver tongue and golden ideas.
  • Maybe. The dumbest people I ever knew studied Nuclear Propulsion for the US Navy, so having a high IQ isn't really a sign of actual intelligence.
  • 128 is a good I.Q. Being 17 can be good depending on your choices. I had a friend (now deceased) that used the say: "I wasn't the first in my class but I hired the guy that was". The point is, intelligence isn't as important as what you do with the gifts you have. Good luck +4
  • age has nothing to do with it actually, but yes your iq is on the high average level.
  • Depends where you had it tested...the vast VAST majority of IQ tests on the internet are totally inaccurate.
  • You have potential. Hope you don't think you're done. +5
  • IQ doesn't mean much by itself, which is why most educators choose more meaningful measures of intelligence such as Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences. http://www.amazon.com/Intelligence-Multiple-Perspectives-Howard-Gardner/dp/0030726298 For instance Joshua Bell is recognized as a musical genius and makes $ millions per year, and that's far more significant than if he were musically untalented, and spent his time alone in his room, even if he had an IQ of 150. Yet IQ does not measure musical aptitude, nor artistic ability, nor negotiating skill, nor many other important skills.
  • yeah you can be proud
  • Intelligence is great when you can know a lot from a little. You're 17. Your IQ is 128, you don't use apostrophes, put periods at the end of your sentence, capitalize the first word of a sentence, or capitalize abbreviations. And then you ask us if that's good. Well, you may have the raw goods but it needs some work.
  • Better than the other way round. ;-)
  • Let me guess, you clicked on one of those banner ads that said "Miley Cyrus's IQ is 125, what is yours?" The information gleaned from banner advertisers is worse than useless, and you've given no information to demonstrate any significant level of intelligence. Come back in a few months and tell us what books you've read and what you've learned from them, and what colleges you've gotten into, that could be more worthy of praise.
  • IQ is just the capacity to learn, not the actual wisdom and experience gained from the learning itself ... kind of like when i see 7 or 8 year old kids who are "black belts" in karate ... pretty sure i'd still kick their asses rather easily
