I don't how it could be breaking gods law since god sent forth armies of christians to kill members of opposing religions. I guess if you are the opposing team, it's okay to kill.

No. Fighting and killing in war is not murder. Same if you accidentally hit someone with your car and they die.

According to the Biblical God, he would ask for "his people" to kill enemies many times...if you're fighting to protect people I suppose it's alright

In international law is considered legal to kill your enemy in combat,but morally it is still murder if you are referring to the commandment "You Shall Not Murder" So I suppose that in a religious sense you are breaking Gods law! This is a very good question.
