My silver molly fish has fry and all were silver. If they breed with a black molly, will my molly have all silver, black, or both? Which sperm would she be impregnanted with? The old one being silver or the new relation being black molly?

    Mollies can give birth 4-5 times with one mateing. You should still have Silver babies until your Mollie has given birth to all fry from that one mateing. Then mate her to the black Mollie for the best possibility of Back fry. You may get a mixture from this mateing even though the Silver sperm is most prevalent.

    Most likely she mated with the silver male Molly, one thing about Mollys, Guppies, swordtails and Platys, they give birth roughly every 30 days with only 1 mqateing from a male. So your Molly may have more Silver babies maybe 3--5 more times, then you can mate her to the Black Molly for a variation of colors in the babies.
