We've been married 25 years. We trust each other completely. I don't like doing things socially. She puts up with this. We have 3 children, the youngest is 19 and in college. We've been through alot together. I'd say we are best friends, but we don't do alot of fun things together anymore. She says we need a weekly date night. She has wanted to take dancing classes several times in the past. I wouldn't go. Now I retired and she still works. I do most of the shopping and cooking and a good part of the housework. She works long hours and is tired when she gets home. So we don't do much. We both read alot, especially her, but we never read the same books. Is this a true friendship?
