  • No, we're still at the top of the economic food chain.
  • In what way? I can't think of any myself.
  • Even though you requested guys only,I can still give you my non-biased openion.I think so.Racism and sexism are deeply ingrained in our society, and not going anywhere soon, even if the blame has to be shifted onto some other group. It's the way it is,and I don't like it,just like you,but I agree with you.Seriously.*+++++*
  • Definitely. I can't even stick my hand up a woman's skirt without a slap to the face and cries of "SEXUAL HARASSMENT!"
  • im a gal, but as far as gender discrimination , I agree..... as far as race , i feel the same...the tide is turning...those who were so long racial are now being discriminationed against...revenged on by the ones that were discriminated against.....they now do the very same that they called bad/evil except they have another bad too....revenge....:)
  • Yes. I truly believe, based on similar incidents, that I did not get a promotion because my company was trying to elevate women. A woman was promoted with less qualifications and experience. I was told it was a discretionary decision that could go either way between two qualified candidates. But it was not just me because other men in the company had the same experience.
  • The worm has certainly turned. One of my assistants was promoted to a managerial position at head office. It even took HER by surprise because she hadn't even asked for it. I suppose it's their turn since men had it so good for so long. It SHOULD level out some day...when gender and race won't be a factor at all. For now it's "be glad you have a job" time.
  • Where have you been for the last twenty years? The tides are in full force. q:)
  • Guys are in fact facing discrimination. No more being nice! We have been shooting our self in the foot!
  • Just watch a little TV or watch teenagers interact. On TV women are portrayed as being the tougher, stronger, more intelligent sex whereas men are shown as bafoons led by there genitals and easily kept in their place with a swift strike or threat to the testicles. I'm thankful I don't have any young sons growing up subjected to this crap. Watching young boys and girls interact these days, you'll notice them imitating what they see in entertainment. The boys act fairly submissive and make a big deal out of wanting sex at any cost and fearing harm to their organs. The girls act as if they are superior in all ways and are in total control. I realize I'm probably exaggerating a bit, but attitudes are headed this way more as time goes on. Men need to start being men again. Society will suffer if men give up their strengths and become weak little pansies. Men and women alike need to use their natural strengths and abilities to their full potential. The sexes are equal but different. We need to quit trying to become a uni-gender society!
  • Hell yeah! where are MY cougars?
  • It turned against me decades ago. I'm Caucasian and male. I'm the target for increasing discrimination and downright attacks. Worse, I'm over 50, and a smoker. Many many times I've seen minorities and women promoted over me; people less qualified than I, and with less experience and less seniority.
