The German "Art of Fighting". This was the martial art of late Medieval and early Renaissance Germany. It's towering figure is Johannes Liechtenauer, a fighting master who is credited as being the father of German swordsmanship. The Kunst des Fechtens includes such weapons as the longsword, sword & buckler, poleaxe, spear, dagger, and a large repertoire of grappling. Both armoured and unarmoured fighting is covered in the system, though most modern practicioners focus on unarmoured longsword and grappling.
