Keep skateboarding!!! Just use a bit of protection gear 'cause I think it hurts more when you stack as you get older. Go for it!!!

Well, I guess when you get older you lose dexterity, balance, strength, and skateboarding would become dangerous -- but I'm talking when you're in your 60s, 70s, 80s, here.

Otherwise, I don't think it's a bad idea at all. I mean, there is a certain culture that goes along with skateboarding that you'd have to accept ... if you want to be taken as a professional, conservative adult, skateboarding might get in the way of that.

It is a bad idea to skateboard without a helmet, hip and butt pads, shoulder pads, knee pads....oh, heck! Just use your kid's old football gear get out there!(lol) If I can manage to jump out of a perfectly good airplane and land safely and help carry young people with busted ankles to the center point, you can risk a skateboard trip of a few yards, you woossy! (lol)

If you exercise enough regularly, and eat well, I wouldn't worry much until you are in your 70's.

Skate for as long as you feel fit. Age is only a number. Just don't be stupid and hit rails and gaps when your 60 yrs. old.

I play with my kids skateboard occasionally nothing serious, just kicking off in the smooth rock free garage. It would be bad if I fell though.
