Personally, I tend toward using the Tachyon Subspace Chrono-Warping Array first. That way I can back time up and start over if things don't work out. Next, I use a Heisenberg Diffusing Filter Matrix Display to show the anomalies in most known spectrums. This usually, but not always succeeds in identifying whatever it is that we're approaching. If none of these things are effective, I then resort to the Super Gigantenormous Mega Pulse Photon Annihilator Bomb and just blow whatever it is the fuck up.
